GBI Yerusalem Baru is a church in Jakarta with a growing need to communicate beyond Sunday services. The website direction focuses on making church information easy to access for youth, visitors, and existing congregation members.
The challenge was to keep the design simple and minimal without making the experience feel empty. The page needed to be informative, approachable for young people, and structured enough to support schedules, events, service details, and devotionals.

- Mapped the content hierarchy around worship schedules, upcoming events, and church updates.
- Created a minimal visual direction that feels modern for young audiences while staying calm and respectful for a church context.
- Designed the devotional content flow so congregation members can read reflections directly from the website.

Decision 01
Keep the church experience simple, modern, and easy to enter.
The interface uses a restrained layout, clear typography, and direct content blocks so young visitors can quickly understand the church, service flow, and next steps without feeling overwhelmed.

Make worship schedules and events visible early.
Service times, event information, and ministry updates are treated as primary content, helping both first-time visitors and regular congregation members find what they need faster.

Support devotionals as a recurring digital habit.
The devotional feature gives the church a simple way to publish reflections that can be read by congregation members, extending the role of the website beyond announcements.
